Purpose & Authority

This handbook defines how staff must operate within all VRChat Legends group spaces. Authority exists to protect safety, fairness, and immersion. Staff power is limited strictly by VRChat Group permission toggles.

Non-Negotiable Principle
If the permission toggle is OFF, the action is forbidden, even if it "seems reasonable."

Group Rules (Staff Enforcement)

  • Respect & Safety: Harassment, stalking, intimidation, or targeted disruption requires immediate action.
  • NSFW (Zero Tolerance): NSFW avatars, sexual content, fetish behavior, or explicit audio result in permanent removal.
  • Crashers & Exploits: Malicious avatars, shaders, scripts, or tools result in immediate removal.
  • Hate & Extremism: Slurs, hate speech, extremist ideology, or symbols are not tolerated.
  • Impersonation & Scams: Fake staff, phishing, scams, or fraud result in removal and escalation.
  • Voice & Chat Abuse: Mic spam, soundboard abuse, TTS harassment, or chat flooding are enforceable.

Rules 2–5 require immediate escalation.

Non-Negotiable Rules

  • If the toggle is off, the action is forbidden.
  • Good intentions do not override permissions.
  • No moderation of friends or personal disputes.
  • No public arguments over enforcement.
  • Admins have final authority.

General Conduct (Public-Facing Rules Reference)

  • Respect all players, staff, and community members.
  • No harassment, stalking, or doxxing of others.
  • Do not impersonate staff or misuse authority.
  • No hate speech, discriminatory behavior, or slurs.
  • No threats, real-life harm, or encouraging self-harm.
  • Follow all VRChat EULA and platform rules.

In-Game Conduct & Bannable Offenses

Permanent Ban Without Appeal
These actions result in permanent bans without appeal from all VRChat Legends worlds and connected platforms.
  • Use or display of NSFW, sexual, or fetish-based avatars.
  • Crashing, lagging, or malicious avatars or tools.
  • Racism, homophobia, transphobia, or hate-based insults.
  • Exploiting bugs, unauthorized mods, or scripts.
  • Advertising or using cheat clients or hacked software.
  • Impersonation, scamming, or identity fraud.
  • Spreading malware, phishing, or illegal content.
  • Political or extremist propaganda of any kind.
  • Repeated rule evasion or creating alt accounts after bans.

Voice & Text Etiquette

  • No mic spam, loud noises, or music blasting.
  • No soundboards or TTS harassment.
  • No text flooding, spam, or chain messages.
  • Keep language civil. Persistent trolling is bannable.

Content Rules

  • No NSFW, gore, or disturbing content (including AI-generated).
  • No political, extremist, or hate content.
  • No false claims, leaks, or defamatory material.
  • All content may be moderated or removed without notice.

Enforcement Policy

Standard Escalation
Unless a zero-tolerance offense applies: 2 warnings → kick. Mutes can be applied immediately for audio/text abuse.
Mute
  • Mic spam / loud audio / music blasting
  • Soundboard or TTS harassment
  • Text spam / flooding
  • Refusing to stop disruptive audio after instruction

Mute does not replace documentation when severe.

Kick
  • After 2 warnings (continued disruption)
  • Persistent trolling after staff instruction
  • Spam that continues after mute / warning
  • Refusing to comply with staff direction

Kick is used to restore the instance quickly.

Ban
  • Any "Permanent Ban Without Appeal" offense (see Chapter 07)
  • Repeat violations after kick(s)
  • Harassing or threatening staff
  • Ban evasion / alt accounts

If you're unsure, escalate to Admin with evidence.

Staff & Moderation Powers

  • Moderators may kick, mute, ban, or shadowban at discretion.
  • Challenging or harassing staff will extend penalties.
  • Serious offenders may be reported to VRChat Trust & Safety.

Data & Privacy

  • Minimal data is collected for profiles, analytics, and moderation.
  • We do not sell or share data with third parties.
  • Flagged content may be retained for security reasons.

Appeals

  • Infractions involving NSFW content, hate speech, or malicious activity are non-appealable.
  • Other cases can be appealed once by emailing support@vrchatlegends.com.

  • Username + display name
  • Date/time of incident
  • What happened (brief)
  • Why you believe it was incorrect
